Fire Safety Services comprises a team of highly qualified personnel, with an impressive combined knowledge of the industry. They really know their stuff but, as you can see, they are an approachable bunch!
David has worked in the fire protection industry for over 30 years. He formed Fire Safety Services in 1999, initially working from home as a sole trader, and is proud to have grown a national company providing quality and ethical fire safety. Today, the business turns over £7 million plus and has nearly 100 employees.
Having worked successfully as a finance director in banking and retail, David’s career in the fire industry started in 1994. He joined Fire Protection Services Plc. and as finance director saw them through the takeover by Kidde in 2001. David joined Fire Safety Services in 2003 as a consultant before becoming finance director the following year.
Director & Company Secretary
Since forming the business with her husband, Lorraine has maintained a varied and challenging role with Fire Safety Services as the business has expanded. She is responsible for administration and auditing, and is a valued member of the board of directors.
An experienced accountant and tax advisor for over 30 years, Gerald was a director at top firm Mazars before setting up his own practice. He now advises over 50 local family businesses, each with a turnover of up to £10m.
Sales & Operations Director
Ian has a vast knowledge of the industry, gained from over 20 years in the service sector. He is committed to securing the future growth of the business, while ensuring that service delivery exceeds customer expectations.
Using his 25 years gained in the fire alarm industry, Adam manages our Bedford systems department, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire alarm monitoring and gas suppression.
Darren brings two decades of experience to this role, where he manages the portable extinguisher service and installation team, technician quality auditing, dry risers testing and customer support.
Qualified marketer Nikki has over 20 years’ professional experience. She is responsible for our strategic marketing planning and implementation, including branding, website, lead generation, social media and PR.
Birmingham Service Centre
Dave has around 25 years experience in the industry. Starting out as an apprentice he has worked his way up from Commissioning Engineer, Systems Manager and now the Birmingham Service Centre Manager.
Passive Protection Manager
As an industry professional with over 30 years in passive fire protection, Drew manages fire door, fire stopping, integrity testing, steel fire escapes and related works for Fire Safety Services nationally.
Fire Safety Compliance Manager
Andrew is a professional life safety commercial fire risk assessor with 30 years’ experience. He is responsible for client fire risk assessments, fire safety training, consultancy and legal compliance.
Norwich Service Centre
With 24 years’ experience in the fire industry, Jonathan is the Norwich service centre manager and his role is to provide quality fire protection services to businesses across the East Anglia region.
Loughborough Service Centre
Service centre manager Tony has over 30 years’ experience in the fire industry, and is responsible for the East Midlands, Yorkshire, North East and Scotland team.
