V Ospreys in the B&I Cup
The Goldington Road based rugby club is once again preparing to welcome the female population of the region for the Blues’ annual Ladies Day where they attempt to turn Bedford pink!
It was 2007 when the Blues first turned pink to raise funds for breast cancer charities and this year the club will be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support and donating to the cause as they invite Bedford’s female fans through the gates to help show their support.

Their Head office is based in Kempston, Bedford and have service centres strategically located across the country in order to provide National coverage to UK businesses.
As an existing sponsor of Bedford Blues Fire Safety Services have sponsored this year’s ladies day in order to show their support for Macmillan Cancer Support.
As always there will be a host of offers available on the day including, two-for-one ground entry for all ladies, free glass of rosé wine and nibbles in the marquee for the girls, special auction and prizes for the best dressed lady presented by Fire Safety Services post match.

Fire Safety at Goldington Road
As a main sponsor at Bedford Blues, Fire Safety Services have been working hard in the background over the past couple of years to improve the fire safety and fire protection at Goldington Road.
Having completed Fire Risk Assessments in 2015 and considered the fire safety and commercial aspects of the findings, we have worked closely with the Directors and senior staff at the club to upgrade many aspects of the fire safety and fire protection around the ground.
The Bedford Blues ground is now protected by fire detection and alarm systems, which are monitored 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, to ensure the early detection of fire and raising the alarm, this includes calling the fire authority out of hours.
As well as fire alarm cover, we also provide the club with all other aspects of fire safety including: fire risk assessment reviews, fire extinguisher servicing, fire training and portable appliance testing.
Part of our sponsorship also provides Bedford Blues with a kit van and a new one is currently on order!
